Dubai Cares contributed to the improvement and well-being of children in Haiti by integrating water and sanitation facilities along with hygiene activities into primary schools. The program delivered a comprehensive package to support the sustainable integration of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in primary schools by reinforcing the role of the child as an “agent of change” and the school as a “center of excellence” for sanitation and hygiene within the community.
