The program aimed to restore schooling in areas affected by the destructive Sulawesi earthquake and tsunami that struck the country in September 2018. It was part of a collaborative response to help affected children return to school and continue their education. The program benefited community members, including children, young people, and teachers, by repairing and refurbishing schools and learning centers, establishing Temporary Learning Structures (TLS), and training teachers to address children’s psychological and emotional needs.
