Dubai Cares implemented this program in the aftermath of the devastating floods that struck parts of Pakistan in July 2010.
As part of the program, Dubai Cares reached 681,073 children across four districts in South Punjab and Upper Sindh. It targeted 3,000 children in the affected districts of Punjab and Sindh, across a minimum of 20 schools, by providing essential school and educational materials that enabled quality learning. Additionally, it built 16 centers that served 3,600 children aged between 6 months and 6 years. The program also provided support in health, hygiene, life skills, early childhood development, recreation, and nutrition through training sessions delivered to mothers and caregivers.
