Dubai Cares, in partnership with the Global Fund for Children (GFC), implemented a regional program in Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua to tackle gender inequality and discrimination that limit adolescent girls' access to education, health services, protection, and civic participation.

The program strengthened 18 local NGOs through capacity-building and grant support to implement girl-led and girl-focused initiatives promoting education, gender equity, and freedom from violence. In parallel, the NGOs conducted advocacy campaigns, including public events, educational materials, and influencer engagement to raise awareness and drive social and political change in support of girls’ rights.
