Dubai Cares worked to improve girls’ access to quality primary education by supporting schools and communities in selected districts of South Punjab and Sindh provinces. The program was implemented in partnership with local organizations that had previously demonstrated a strong commitment to gender equity and girls’ education. It focused on renovating and reconstructing numerous schools and their premises, providing school supplies, and delivering teacher training. Additionally, the program involved the formation and training of School Management Committees, conducting health and awareness sessions, and encouraging the participation of children in school improvement efforts. Dubai Cares also worked to establish links with district governments and engaged in policy advocacy and capacity building among its program partners.
