Dubai Cares built and equipped two schools in Juba County, Central Equatoria State, and strengthened the organizational capacity of both the government and local communities. Each school included eight classrooms, separate water and sanitation facilities for boys and girls, and perimeter security fencing to ensure a safe learning environment.

As part of this program, Dubai Cares trained teachers and established student-led co-curricular programs in sports, life skills, health, children’s rights, and nutrition to engage students, their parents, and surrounding communities. The organization also provided training and mentoring for Parent-Teacher Associations and School Management Committees, along with conducting community training sessions and awareness-raising campaigns focused on the importance of education, particularly for girls and marginalized children.
