Dubai Cares worked to provide quality primary education in the flood-affected districts of Dadu and Shahdadkot. The program addressed key barriers preventing girls from accessing quality education by implementing immediate interventions such as the rehabilitation of schools and the provision of essential teaching and learning materials. It also incorporated medium-term efforts, including teacher training and capacity building for stakeholders, to ensure long-term, sustainable impact.
As part of the program, Dubai Cares rehabilitated 19 schools, which included the renovation of classrooms and sanitation facilities. The organization also created safe and supportive learning environments by equipping schools with learning materials and furniture. Additionally, teachers received training on interactive teaching methods and the effective use of diverse learning materials to enhance classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
