Dubai Cares, in partnership with Oxfam GB, supported the government and stakeholders in improving the effectiveness of the education system in Niger. The program also aimed to enhance the management of national education resources, improve the quality of education, and promote gender equality within the teaching system. Additionally, the program focused on increasing access to basic education in pastoral and agro-pastoral communities in the Tillabery region. It involved direct interventions in the region to improve access and retention, enhance quality, and encourage community participation in school governance. Furthermore, the program supported the formulation and implementation of appropriate policies and contributed to the development of national education institutions.
