Dubai Cares, in partnership with buildOn, supported the construction of schools in Nepal. The program aimed to increase access to education for girls and women, improve primary school infrastructure, and provide safe and sanitary environments for children to learn and teachers to teach. It also worked to increase literacy rates among illiterate adults.

The initiative offered parents and community members the opportunity to contribute to the construction of schools and participate in capacity-building programs. In addition, it sought to enhance access to adult education by training local facilitators to teach illiterate men and women the fundamentals of reading and writing.
