In partnership with buildOn, Dubai Cares supported the construction of schools in remote areas of Nepal to improve access to education for girls and women. The program enhanced primary school infrastructure, creating safe and sanitary spaces for both students and teachers.

It also engaged parents and community members in the construction process and offered capacity-building opportunities to strengthen local involvement. To address adult illiteracy, the program trained local facilitators to teach basic reading and writing skills, helping illiterate men and women gain access to essential literacy education.
