Dubai Cares, in partnership with United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNWRA), launched a fundraising sadaqah campaign in response to unprecedented funding cuts, with the aim of protecting vital services for over 5.3 million Palestinian refugees.

The campaign successfully raised AED 65,110, which will go towards supporting access to education for Palestinian refugee students in Gaza. With the cost of educating one student for an academic year amounting to AED 2,953, the funds raised will enable 22 students to receive uninterrupted education for one full academic year, ensuring continuity of learning amid one of the region’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.
