Dubai Cares supported an 18-month program aimed at establishing a new music center in Arequipa City. A total of 748 children aged 5 to 15 learned music theory and were enrolled in choir classes based on a set of criteria, including their level of commitment to the project, skill level, preference for a particular instrument, physical characteristics, and other factors. Dubai Cares supported the provision of musical instruments, covered the salaries of instructors and administrative staff, and contributed to the organization of concerts in the region and in Lima.
