Dubai Cares supported children in realizing their right to access and complete basic primary education in safe and quality learning environments, while also helping them acquire improved social and personal skills to make better life choices. The program aimed to increase enrollment and retention of children, particularly girls and marginalized groups, in primary schools across three counties in South Sudan. It also worked to improve the quality of primary education in a way that responds to the specific needs of marginalized children, especially girls, and to strengthen locally accountable, community-based, and gender-sensitive school management systems.
