Dubai Cares funded the training of head teachers to become instructional leaders, initially through face-to-face training, followed by a distance-learning cascade made possible by a technology infrastructure. The program was implemented over a period of 2 years and 6 months and targeted schools in West African provinces. It aimed to improve teaching practices through interactive, activity-based learning, enhance teachers’ subject knowledge, create more equitable classroom environments, and support the development of a more accountable monitoring system for teaching quality.
