Dubai Cares, in partnership with United World Schools, implemented a program that involved the construction of three four-room schools, each designed to accommodate up to 200 students. These schools provided safe and inclusive learning environments for children in underserved and remote communities.

The program also focused on building local capacity by training adults from the community to become teachers, teaching assistants, and librarians, ensuring the schools were staffed by locally empowered individuals. Dubai Cares sustained the schools for the first year of operation and supported the transition to a different, locally appropriate funding model thereafter.
