In partnership with buildOn, Dubai Cares supported the construction of schools in Nepal to improve access to education, particularly for girls and women. The program focused on enhancing primary school infrastructure, providing safe and sanitary learning environments for children and teachers, and increasing literacy rates among both children and adults.

The initiative also empowered local communities by involving parents and community members in the construction process and offering capacity-building opportunities. In addition, the program improved access to adult education by training local facilitators to teach illiterate men and women the basics of reading and writing, promoting lifelong learning and inclusion.
