Dubai Cares, in partnership with Mahboba’s Promise, funded and supported the rehabilitation of two schools: Abdara Girls’ School and Abdara Boys’ School in the Panjshir Valley. The program aimed to provide essential facilities to create a safer and more positive educational environment. It also sought to ensure regular school attendance and foster a supportive atmosphere that encouraged children to stay in school.

As part of the program, a new roof was constructed for Abdara Girls’ School, while the walls of Abdara Boys’ School were plastered and painted. A new solar panel was installed, and both schools were furnished with new desks.
