Dubai Cares, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), reintegrated out-of-school children into the formal education system by providing a one-year accelerated bridging program. Priority was given to children who had missed their basic education due to conflict and displacement. The program aimed to ensure equal access for both girls and boys, with a strong focus on removing barriers to girls’ enrollment and retention. Special attention was directed toward vulnerable individuals and groups, including those living in settlements and children with special education needs.
As part of the initiative, the program included training for teachers, civil society organizations, and parent-teacher associations, along with the construction of appropriate learning spaces to support a conducive educational environment.
