Dubai Cares, in partnership with UNICEF, focused on improving education opportunities for children, especially girls, in the most remote and marginalized communities across all regions to increase both the demand for and the supply of education services. As part of the program, Dubai Cares supported the development of non-formal education, built and rehabilitated primary schools in disadvantaged areas, introduced innovative teaching methods, and trained and supervised teachers. Additionally, Dubai Cares provided support for the development of policy frameworks, as well as coordination, monitoring, and evaluation efforts to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the program.
As part of the program, Dubai Cares:
